Duration : 04 Nights 05 Days | Customizable
Cities: Grahan Village, Mung Thach, Nagaru, Biskeri Thach
Your Sar Pass journey begins in Kasol's city centre and heads true left on the Grahan Nallah.
The track is straight forward and well-used by locals, and it is possible to cover a substantial distance in a short amount of time.
The trail becomes stony after passing through the Grahan Nallah and leads uphill away from the river's right bank, into the Rhododendron woodland.
The rhododendron petals can be eaten whole, and the syrup can be mixed with water to make a refreshing drink.
The Grahan Settlement is the last village on the walk after a steep ascent of roughly an hour, and there will be no mobile network from here on out.
At Grahan, you'll spend the night in tents.
Begin your hike north of Grahan's camping location on the villagers' trail towards Mung Thach after a hearty breakfast.
After continuing your journey for a while, look to the right for the Mung Thach, Nagaru, and Sar Top.
Trek through the woods on the more challenging track that leads into the densely forested area.
The trail becomes more challenging in several spots as the hill steepens.
You'll arrive to Mung Thach, your goal for the day, after crossing the forest.
The Chandrakhani stretch, as well as other significant Himalayan ranges, may be seen from here. Stay in a woodland camp at Mung Thach for the night.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh breeze first thing in the morning.
After that, the journey from Mung Thach to Nagaru will begin, travelling through the forest. Because the hill drops suddenly to the valley below and the snow can be slippery, this segment of the climb is difficult.
Reach Nagaru campground after a couple of hours of crossing a difficult slope. When looking north, the Parvati valley's stunning mountains and the lovely village of Manikaran may be seen.
At Nagaru, you'll spend the night in a tent.
Make an early start because the ascent through the snow is tough. When you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Sar pass and the Tosh valley's towering peaks.
Stay at the summit for a while to enjoy your accomplishment and capture the scene in photographs. Then you'll have to slide down the Biskeri, which is both thrilling and entirely safe if you take precautions.
The slide can lead you down the valley's softer slope for up to a kilometre. To reach the valley and finally the Biskeri Thach campground, walk for an hour, crossing a few streams.
Biskeri Thach is where you'll spend the night.
Take in the spectacular views of pine trees, beautiful mountains, and lush green pastures from Biskeri. Hike down from Biskeri through a steep, fenced-in section of land.
After passing through the dense forest, you'll come to a stream with a campsite on the other side.
Because the twin settlements of Pulga and Tulga are divided by a stream, the path to Pulga village is to the left of the campsite. To go to the settlement of Barshaini, cross a bridge across the Parvati River from Tulga. Your Sar Pass trek concludes with a Jeep trip to Kasol base camp.
